We are regulated by Care Quality Commission – CQC and they require that our services are Safe, Caring, Effective, Responsive and Well-Led. Our recruitment procedure is robust and stringent. Our quality priorities are to provide a team of healthcare workers that delivers a safe and effective service to our service users. Our robust recruitment procedure allows us to carefully check that all our nurses and carers have relevant qualifications and experience before they provide care. This includes:

  • DBS -Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
  • Detailed reference checks.
  • Legal right to work in UK.
  • Person to person interview.
  • Full working history
  • Fitness to practice

We always ensure that our service is effective and well-led by ensuring that all of our staff are under supervision process with up-to-date personal development plans that refer to relevant professional development frameworks. Our team of dedicated nurses and carers are trained to National Standards when they are recruited. There is a mandatory training programme in place which includes manual handling, infection control, basic life support, fire safety and many others.
